There may be several reasons for missing a booked lesson, however, every one of them can be solved.

Student accidentally missed a lesson

When a student misses the lesson, maybe he/she forgot or had some technical issues (e.g. lost internet connection, had some problems with his/her device…). The lesson on the platform will be marked as complete. 

You will be paid for this lesson due to student’s fault he/she didn’t come to a class.

It is recommended to notify the support team about this issue. 

However, if you agree with your student, you can reschedule the lesson. In this case, it is necessary to consult the support team.

Student and tutor missed a lesson due to technical issues on the platform

Although is quite rare, but not impossible, there can be a technical problem with the platform. For example, the student was prepared and waiting for the class to start but for some technical issues, he/she couldn’t e.g. log in to the platform, or join the class.

In this case, it is highly recommended to immediately inform the support team so that the issue can be fixed as soon as possible.

You can ask the support team to reschedule the missed lesson as well.

Student and tutor missed a lesson due to issues with timezones

If a student missed a lesson due to different timezone with you, it is recommended to immediately contact the support team and notify about the problem. 

The reason why you should immediately notify the support team is that timezones are already set up on the platform and you see the scheduled lesson on your timezone and the student on his/her local timezone.
